Arbat

Arbat is the main tourist artery of Moscow and one of the oldest streets in the capital. The history of Arbat dates back to the XVI century: for centuries this street was a merchant settlement, then the main center of the aristocracy of Moscow, and now it has become a popular landmark and symbol of the city. The attractiveness of the Old Arbat for tourists is not limited exclusively to architectural objects — it is a pedestrian street with trendy restaurants and cafes, as well as a street culture center soaked in a special atmosphere with original musicians and free artists.
